OpenFA for Android

Privacy policy

How the OpenFA Android app handles your files and game data.

Last updated: 8 October 2026

Who is responsible

OpenFA (Android package pl.enderdev.openfa) is developed by EnderDEV. For privacy questions, contact the developer through the project issue tracker. Issues are public, so please do not include private information in your report.

Data handled by the app

The app stores game saves, settings and installed game content on your device in its private app storage. If you choose to import a legally owned Fragile Allegiance installation, Android's document picker gives OpenFA access to the folder or ZIP file you select. The app copies the supported game files into private app storage to run the game. It does not scan unrelated files or upload the selected files to EnderDEV.

The current Android app has no account registration, advertising or analytics integration. OpenFA does not send your game saves, settings or imported files to EnderDEV servers and does not share them with third parties. The app does not request access to your location, contacts, camera or microphone.

Storage and security

Android restricts access to the app's private storage. OpenFA uses the system document picker for files you explicitly select, and Android's app sandbox protects the local copies. The app disables Android backup for its app data. You can remove the imported files and other local data by clearing OpenFA's storage in Android settings or uninstalling the app. Deleting local data also deletes saved games and settings; keep your own copy of anything you want to retain.

Retention and deletion

Local data remains on your device until you delete it, clear the app's storage or uninstall the app. EnderDEV does not hold an account or a server copy of this data and therefore cannot delete a copy from your device remotely.
